The Sun is a dynamic and fascinating study offering a continuously changing form to engage the amateur astronomer.  
Capturing its beauty and power with both specialized still frame and video CCD cameras is an interest that’s particularly fascinating to me.  The Sun section is divided into two genres, imagery in “white” or visible light and a specialized
form of expression through the very narrow wavelength of a hydrogen-alpha solar filter.
